What an event this was for Tilbury Road.

What started as an idea and chat with Danny, the owner of Leyton Calling & Chop Shop Tavern, quickly became a reality.

9 venues, all offering something hot, spicy or smokey and man did every deliver. Tilbury Road really is the place to be for people of Leyton and neighbouring areas.

Ochi Caribbean - spicy jerk wings

Wins Bakers - Chicken, corn & jalapeño pasty

Libertalia Brewing - Chipotle Porter

Chop Shop Tavern - Mezcal Paloma

Tun Cafe - healthy ginger shot

POINT Cocktails - B. Cardi Geezer, a spicy watermelon cocktail

Jamspot Hotsauce also turned up with a stand for his hot sauces and a chilli eating competition to finish off the day in Tilbury Yard.

With the event starting at 12 and finishing at 8, there was plenty of enjoyment for everyone, young and old (as is the tradition of Tilbury Road these days) with music being played in Tilbury Yard and Tun cafe. The after party continued until 2pm at Chop Shop Tavern.
